The business was established in 1984 by Greg and Carolyn Neill and now occupies two shopfronts in Mackay, Queensland. We joined the prestigious Showcase Buying Group in 1989 and regularly attend meetings, along with other jewellery fairs, to keep up with all the latest trends in top-end fine jewellery.

Greg Neill
Greg was born in Bundaberg in 1952 and moved to Mackay to work in insurance after a brief employment in the military. Shortly after this he worked for a locally owned jeweller and in 1985 purchased it off him in partnership with his wife, Carolyn. Greg is the proud father of two children and his passions include selling diamonds to happy couples and playing golf.

Carolyn Neill
Carolyn was born in 1957 and has resided in Mackay her entire life. She began her career as a nurse at the Mater Hospital until she and Greg bought the jewellery store in 1985. A happy mother of two she has shared her love of cooking, literature and travel with her children.

Simon Neill
Simon was born Mackay in 1983 and worked in the family business as a young teenager. After attending university he travelled and lived abroad until 2009 wherein he returned to Australia to pursue a career at Greg Neill Jewellers and has evolved to become Greg Neill & Son.
